Has Rooney’s Hair Transplant Failed?

We reported last year how England striker, Wayne Rooney, hated his thinning hair so much that he had had a hair transplant.

With all eyes back on the Manchester United player once more, thanks to the Euro 2012 Football tournament, it hasn’t gone without notice that the 26 year old is looking worryingly thin on top once more.

After proudly Tweeting out a picture of his new thicker hair after the £30,000 operation last year, recent images of him at the England team’s base in Poland have led Twitter users to tell him to ask for a refund.

Rooney had the ‘follicular transfer’ treatment – in which hair follicles are extracted from lush patches and reinserted where hair is thinning – at a London clinic. He said at the time he was delighted with the result.
