Hollywood legend, Susan Sarandon, star of blockbuster movies such as Thelma & Louise and Dead Man Walking has confessed to having liposuction at the age of 65.
Th actress has admitted to undergoing the invasive cosmetic surgery procedure in a bid to remove fat deposits from her face.
She confessed to People magazine, “I’ve had some lipo under my chin and under my eyes.”
Sarandon is probably refering to a procedure called, blepharoplasty, which removes bags from under the eye. As an actress this area is prone to the appearance of bags.
The procedure to remove her double chin was most likely a laser-assisted liposuction procedure called Smartlipo. When no amount of cream, facial exercises or dieting helps, cosmetic surgeons come to the rescue this way.
Sarandon also revealed that she hasn’t ruled out more anti ageing procedures, such as Botox injections, as long as doctors don’t go overboard.
