Former I’m A Celebrity and How Clean is Your House star, Kim Woodburn, has revealed that she had breast reduction surgery following her appearance on reality TV.
Woodburn, 69, had disliked her 38FF breasts for some time, finding them to be heavy and uncomfortable, and she was finally spurred on to have a much-wanted breast reduction. She chose the cosmetic surgeon who had completed television host Ulrika Johnson's boob job, Laurence Kirwan, after hearing how happy Ulrika was with her results.
Woodburn – who watched herself in the 'I'm a Celebrity' jungle following her appearance on the show, said that she was shocked at how large her breasts looked. She also said that she was tired of having to wear 'industrial-size’ bras to keep her breasts in check.
Woodburn appeared on the popular ITV daytime chatshow Loose Women this week, and, when questioned by host Carol Vorderman about what she 'got out of' the jungle experience, she said, “It furthered my career and I got a few bob and I got new boobs!”
“No one has noticed, so this is first out on television today but when I first went into the jungle I saw these big things hanging down. You have to hoick your bosoms up to clean under them. It's not easy, I can tell you. I never got shoulder ache, I’d always worn good bras but never heightened them,” she added.
She went on to say that she was very pleased that her breasts now ‘face the light' when she lies down in bed.
Woodburn also revealed some details about her consultation with the cosmetic surgeon prior to the procedure being carried out.
“I went to see the doctor and he said you don’t get many of those to the pound. He said you can’t have a small bust because you’re a big woman but I’ll give you biggish, they get all the fat from under there, I had yards of it, he said they’d be pert. Now I lie in bed and think, wow!" said the TV star.
