It seems the only way is cosmetic dentistry this week as one of the stars from the hit reality TV series The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) is considering having a smile makeover.
James Argent – known by his nickname of Arg – mulled the cosmetic procedure in one of this week's episodes of the ITV show.
A cosmetic dentist, Ash Parmar, of Chigwell-based Smile Design by Ash, appeared in the episode to discuss what cosmetic dentistry involved and what it could do for Arg's appearance and confidence.
Several of Arg's co-stars in TOWIE have already undergone the procedure and now Arg looks set to follow in their footsteps. He was seen checking out his teeth in a mirror and deciding whether or not to get a makeover which was "halfway between Hollywood and Brentwood."
Arg is said to be keen to improve his appearance now that he is back with his former girlfriend, Lydia Bright, who is renowned for her impeccable appearance and the pride she takes in her looks.
Arg has also embarked on a weight-loss plan in a bid to slim down and tone up. Arg's longtime best friend, Mark Wright, is extremely body confident and was seen in Wednesday's episode discussing how Arg could improve his looks and confidence. Both men agreed that there were steps he could take in order to look better.
Arg later took to social networking site Twitter to reveal his cosmetic dentistry plans, tweeting, “How white should I go, Brentwood or Hollywood? Lol. Who thinks gaps in teeth are sexy. I'm so confused, big decisions!”
