The MyFaceMyBody Awards, which celebrate the innovation and success within the dentistry and aesthetics industry, have announced the shortlist for 2013.
This year a team of international judges have spent three weeks pouring over entries for 18 categories covering the dental, aesthetic and media industry. Amanda Cameron from Aesthetics UK, Eddie Hooker from Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance, Dr Julian Caplan President BACD, Amarjit Gill ex-President of the British Dental Association, Raffi Eghiayan, Karen Betts, director of the Nouveau Beauty Group, Mr Paul Banwell a Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon, Mr Mark Gittos a leading specialist in the field of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Trish Winchester had hundreds of nominations to decide from and making a shortlist was not easy.
Stephen Handisides, who created the awards, said: “We had hoped that the standard of entries would be as good as last year, so we were overjoyed when so many outstanding brands, companies and personalities took part.
“It’s a cliché but the judges really did agonise over their decisions and it was a struggle to create a shortlist.
“Now that the shortlist has been announced a really exciting phase begins – gather votes from the public to decide a winner!”

The MyFaceMyBody Awards have been designed to recognise and reward brands for their product innovation and popularity. Clinics are also rewarded for exceptional experiences and outstanding service to their consumers. The awards are attended by leading health and beauty professionals, beauty brands, journalists, TV personalities and celebrities.
Because the Awards are voted on by the consumer and moderated by a panel of experts who are all leaders within the health and beauty industry the process is more transparent, fair and meaningful to the winners.
In addition to the awards we will aim to raise money for our chosen charity, Bridge2Aid.
