They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day – but what if that breakfast is the day?!
A 24 hour breakfast may not be everyone’s idea of enjoyable, but thankfully we’re not talking a full English. This 24 hour breakfast is Radio City96.7’s annual charity fundraiser, involving nothing more than non stop tunes, fun … and the Lip Doctor.
Now in it’s fourth year, DJ Rossie’s 24 hour marathon radio show raised £38K last year, and they hope to do even better in 2012. The money goes to help under-priviledged children in Liverpool and the North West of England.
Broadcasting live from the Palm Sugar Lounge, the marathon started at 8am this morning (27th September) and finished at 8am tomorrow. Special guests include the cast of Hollyoaks, actors from Phoenix Nights and the Peep Show – as well as a variety of entertainers.
North West aesthetic expert, The Lip Doctor, is one of the sponsors of the event and are proud to be associated with a charity event working at ground level to help the most vulnerable in society.
