The secret to looking and feeling good in a muddy field is to choose outfits which are comfortable and casual but also have a nod to current trends.
Good footwear is essential – wellies are an obvious choice but sturdy hiking-style or cowboy boots also fit the bill.
Take a hat, scarves, sturdy brollie and a hooded or waterproof mac – if you forget, you’ll end up buying the cheapo-plastic-poncho which is not a pretty sight on anyone!!
