It’s tight fitting, stylish and patriotic – it can only be the new Olympic 2012 kit, designed by Stella McCartney.
The designer, daughter of Paul McCartney, has worked in conjunction with adidas to create the team kit and there’s everything from swimwear to BMX helmets.
McCartney has created the kit for the 900 Olympic and Paralympic athletes that are taking part in 46 sports. That’s a huge 590 items for them to go for gold in.
The 40 year old designer created a kit that puts heavy emphasis on the Union Jack, only replacing the red of the flag for two shades of blue, and keeping the bursts of red for the trim on clothing, shin pads and shoes.
The kit was modelled by Jessica Ennis, Andy Murray and Victoria Pendleton
