Joan Rivers has her 734th cosmetic procedure – live on TV!
In the first episode of the second series of her reality TV show ‘Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best’ which aired in the US last week, the American comedienne went under the knife and invited viewers to watch.
The American star had an operation to “tune up” her neck – which she claimed was the 734rd time she’d gone under the knife.
Viewers were treated to images of Joan feeling anxious before the procedure and then in recovery, with her head in bandages.
The funnywoman’s daughter, Melissa, is seen pleading with her mother not to go through with the operation amid fears it could be dangerous because of her advancing years, telling her, “I don’t want you to die.”
