Dr. Hugo J Kitchen has been a medical practitioner for 29 years. He found the Stratford Dermatherapy Clinic in 1988 and has built up a loyal following in Stratford Upon Avon and nine additional clinics around the UK. He is relied upon for his skill and expertise in all forms of beauty treatments.
Dr. Kitchen has been administering dermal fillers since 1988 and is an expert in all forms, such as Restylane, Restylane-Touch/Perlane/VITAL and SUB-Q , Hylaform, Rofilan, Sculptra and the new Belotero.
In 2002 Dr. Kitchen became one of the very first users of Medical Micro-dermabrasion helped pioneer the use of the Agera Rx Skin Technology in the UK. Agera Rx is a nanotechnological series of layered skin peels which is proven to help fight the dermal aging process. Agera Rx home-care products are also available from Stratford Dermatherapy clinic for self-administration at home.
The American Institute of Medical Aesthetics has trained Dr Kitchen in the use of their range of scientifically-based skincare products. These were are created from Nobel Prize winning molecular spin technology. COSMEDIX products are a simply wonderful platform for home use for general skin maintenance and treating complex and difficult skin problems such as

Dr. Kitchen is trained in the administration of Botox, for the reduction of facial expression lines in the upper and lower face and also the neck. This popular treatment is performed by Dr. Kitchen on a range of patients including celebrities. 15% of all Botox patients are now men who are much less shy about enjoying the aesthetic benefits of the increasing range of treatments available. It also is used to treat excessive sweating (called, hyperhydrosis).
Some patients are resistant to Botox use and Dr Kitchen also offers the British branded Dysport which performs exactly the same function. Whatever treatment performed Dr Kitchen is a huge proponent of the natural look and won’t give you the ‘frozen face’ look, so criticised in mainstream media.
The Stratford Dermatherapy Clinic also performs treatments with Photoderm IPL (Intense-Pulsed Light), a treatment that removes unsightly unwanted hair, thread veins and abnormal pigmentation of the skin caused by sun damage. Vascular tumours, portwine stains and spider veins are a huge problem and IPL is the treatment of choice. It has stood the test of more than 12 years of clinical success.
For five years the clinic has been offering patients the revolutionary Skin-Wrap which can deliver circumferential body “Inch Loss”. It is offered either as an In-House spa-type treatment or as a home system.

In 2004 The Stratford Dermatherapy Clinic acquired the second Thermage Thermacool system in the UK, a revolutionary system that uses a non-invasive delivery of radio-freqency pulsing that can create skin-tightening effects on the whole face and neck which may last up to five years. They have performed over 200 treatments to date and the clinic is excited now that the machine has its FDA licence for off-face use. Now the loose skin on your body can be tightened too!
Of course, Dr. Kitchen is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors and to date, has performed over 100,000 cosmetic treatments, including 2000 courses of Photoderm IPL treatment. Not one to rest on his laurels, Dr. Kitchen still undergoes continuous professional training and is registered with the Healthcare Commission.
Dr Kitchen is assisted by his colleague and brother Mr. James A Kitchen, also trained as an aesthetic practitioner, in the use of Photoderm IPL, Thermage, Medical Microdermabrasion and skin peels using the COSMEDIX and Agera systems.
