Laser Hair Removal
[media id="85"]
Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) systems use powerful light sources to offer a long-term solution to unwanted body hair removal. There are a wide variety of different laser/IPL machines used across the country which all work in different ways, however the principle is the same: delivering a strong ‘burst’ of light into the hair follicle to damage it and prevent future hair growth. Laser and IPL can be used to treat unwanted hair on most areas of the face and body in men and women. Some skin types such as very dark or tanned skin and hair types, such as red and grey hair, may not be suitable for this treatment. Treatment will cost anywhere between £50 and £500 per session, depending on the size of the area being treated. Clinics and salons offering this treatment must be registered with the Healthcare Commission and the person performing your treatment must be fully trained in using the particular system they are using.
