Recovery

There is no downtime associated with VelaSmooth or Endermologie treatment so you will be able to resume normal activities straight away. With VelaSmooth treatment the treated area may appear flushed or pink from the heat for a short while, and may feel warm for several hours after treatment. Some redness and mild bruising may also occur in the treated area after both treatments but this is rare and will disappear within a day. The lymph system is stimulated by these procedure, so it is important that you drink at least two litres of water a day during treatment to aid the removal of toxins from your body, which will leave skin looking brighter, tighter and more hydrated. You may also notice an increase in your urine output, which is due to the broken down cells being absorbed and excreted by the lymphatic system. You should also avoid drinking alcohol after treatment.
