Eczema

Eczema, also known as dermatitis, is a skin conditions that causes the skin to become irritated or inflamed. There are many different types of eczema – the most common is atopic eczema (also called endogenous eczema). Eczema characteristically causes itching and burning of the skin. It is most common in children, with around one in six UK children suffering from atopic eczema, however most grow out of it by their teens. Some people may continue to suffer from eczema into adulthood.
