What treatment options are available for pigmentation?
Pigmentation has many causes, mainly it is the result of skin damage. Sun exposure, acne, injury, surgery, hormonal imbalance and lifestyle choices all weigh in to give our skin a blotchy and dull skin tone. It is the hardest skin condition to treat as internal factors can directly interfere with surface skin treatment. I always advise my clients to expect no more that a 70% improvement as the internal fractors are likely to leave some remaining pigmentation behind.
In clinic treatments vary from skin peels, microdermabrasion, IPL and Fractional Laser to achieve a close to flawless and balanced skin tone.
Homecare is very important too as 70% of the results you will achieve when treating pigmenation will result from the cosmeceutical skin products you are using on a daily basis.
I recommend you come to see me for a consultation and skin assessment. This will give me a better insight as to the factors associated with your pigmentation.
Please let me know when you would like a consultation and I can arrange for one for you.
