Pippa Middleton inspires latest cosmetic surgery trend

The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge has inspired a new cosmetic surgery trend – the buttock lift.
Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Duchess Catherine, wowed the crowds in her form-fitting Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen-designed bridesmaid dress at the royal wedding in April, and now women are hoping to get in on the act.
Across the pond in the US, cosmetic surgeons are reporting a dramatic increase in the number of customers booking in for a 'Pippa butt lift,' whilst here in the UK women are flocking in their droves, keen to get that pert posterior.
So popular is Pippa's behind that there is even a page dedicated to it on social networking site Facebook, entitled 'Pippa Middleton Ass Appreciation Society.'
One woman who recently underwent buttock surgery in order to look like Pippa was Christina Valdez, 28, from Miami.
She told Good Morning America, “She's got a nice rump that's not too big. Her frame just looked incredible in that dress. I was like, "That's it. This is it, I just have to look like her. If she can look petite and great and still have a nice backside to her, so can I.”
Ms Valdez had fat removed from her stomach and injected into her rear during the two-hour procedure, in a bid to shape her bottom to look like Pippa's and to slim down her waist and stomach area.
The happy customer told Good Morning America, “I love the results," she said. "It looks beautiful, feels great and I feel sexy.”
The plastic surgeon who carried out the buttock lift on Ms Valdez, Miami-based Dr Constantino Mendieta – who is also the author of 'The Art of Gluteal Sculpting' – told The Third Age that 80 per cent of his cosmetic surgery procedures were now buttock lifts, with 20 per cent of women booking citing Pippa as the reason behind their decision to have the work done.
“In that wedding gown, she created a stir. People want those dimensions. She's just gorgeous,” he said.
