You told me about something quite different it’s laser dentistry there are a variety of lasers available, and we have a variety of lasers that do different things. So, there’s not just having one laser machine to do the odd treatment – we have 3 or 4 different types of laser machines available – and with that you can either whiten teeth or you can reshape the gums so you can actually improve the gums and have them so the smile looks better without doing any other dentistry.
We can do drill-free, pain-free, needle-free dentistry on our patients, especially young children, so we actually get them to experience comfortable dentistry.
I mean, that’s the one big thing, I think, that scares a lot of people off going to the dentist, isn’t it, is the pain?
Absolutely.
The drilling noise? But this sounds like it’s a good solution to people that ask you to the dentist.
And how many times do have people say to you that they had wisdom teeth problems?

Well, there are certain treatments available – with a laser – where you can actually make them so much more comfortable, and then… That you don’t often have to take those teeth out.
Great, I mean do many practices around the country offer laser technology treatments or is it something quite particular to your clinic.
The actual laser machine itself does vary and they are quite expensive machines. So it depends on how many practices actually are going to invest in all the variety of lasers available. So lasers have been around for awhile. But most practitioners have either one or the other but not the entire group of lasers that are available.
