Learn about revolumising treatments from Dr Sam Robson at Temple Aesthetics
At Temple Aesthetics I have devised a philosophy based around three R’s: relaxing, revolumising, and resurfacing. I want to tell you about revolumising.
The whole idea behind revolumising is to basically put the volume back into cheeks that’s been lost as a result of aging. So when you do lose the volume, you tend to get hollowed out, rounder eyes and these lines become much more prominent and you also find the corners of your mouth turning down.
What we’ve found is that by using dermal fillers for sculpture, we can restore that lost volume and the idea is for it to be very subtle. It’s just a gentle lifting, but it does take several years off your face. I’ve had several treatments done. I started off with Sculptra and then I had Botox. I had fillers, lip enhancement fillers, and I had the Dermaroller treatment for improving your skin.
Well, I just feel I got me back. And I will certainly continue with the treatments because you do have maintenance to do.
I get lots of compliments about how good I’m looking, that my skin’s looking good, that my general outlay, outlook on life is a lot better than what it was, and people generally don’t think I’m the age I am. The reason people should see us at Temple Aesthetics is because I am a doctor, I understand the facial anatomy and I’m looking to create a soft result and I think you’ll be in very safe hands.
When we’re looking at revolumizing people’s faces, it’s often useful to understand what their concerns are. People come in and say that they’ve had comments that they’re looking tired or sad. And when I explain to them that the best way to address this is to actually lift up their cheeks and soften the lines around their eyes, they’re generally delighted with the results.
