De-Fuzz Forever!
Ditch the razor! Excessive or unsightly body hair can be easily removed with laser hair removal which is a rapid, yet gentle way of removing unwanted hair, the procedure is virtually painless and is medically proven to give you permanent hair reduction. The great thing about laser hair removal is that it is suitable for a wide variety of hair and skin types.
Laser hair removal can result in permanent removal of unwanted hair. Statistics show that 60-95% of targeted hair is permanently gone after the recommended course of treatments.
Think of a life with no more shaving or waxing! Someone can shave 11,540 times in one lifetime – with statistics like this it is easy to see why anyone would like to remove unwanted hair permanently.
Tip: Ensure that you choose a reputable clinic or company to carry out your laser hair removal, it is best advised that you locate a fully qualified Cosmetic Nurses and Aesthetic Practitioners who are specially trained and highly experienced in carrying out laser hair removal treatments. As the laser is passed over the area being treated, the hairs are destroyed, reducing further growth and leaving a silky smooth feel even on sensitive skin.
Be a Smooth Operator – Banish Cellulite!
This is a firm favourite of mine, tried and tested and thoroughly reccomendded with a five star approval from myself: VelaShape™ is currently the ONLY FDA cleared device (a strict American approval system evaluating trials on effectiveness claims) that safely contours, shapes and slims the body by reducing cellulite and firming problem areas in as little as 6 treatments.
Cellulite is the name given to the lumpy, irregular fat deposits often found around the hips, buttocks and upper leg areas. It is sometimes described as “orange peel skin” because of the dimpled appearance of the affected areas. It appears in 90% of post-adolescent women,
Treatments options such as Velashape do offer proven visible improvement and are gaining in popularity amongst the medical community.
Velashape uses radiofrequency and light energy plus vacuum and mechanical massage to uniquely combine all of the modalities that have been shown to help improve the appearance of cellulite into one device. Gentle heating, stimulation from infra red light combined with massage increases the metabolism of stored energy, increases lymphatic drainage and reduces or shrinks the size of the actual fat cells and fat chambers.
The result:
•Gradual smoothing of the skin’s surface with a noticeable reduction in cellulite
•Circumferential Reduction, with noticeable reshaping of the treated area
Out with old and in with the New – Blast away dead skin!
Hydradermabrasion or Hydrafacial – The Ultimate Skin Exfoliation, Hydration and Deep Cleansing experience is a definite must have for summer sexy skin.
This unique multi-treatment experience results in clearer, more beautiful skin with no discomfort or downtime.
The Hydrafacial takes its name from the root word Hydrate: “to cause to take up moisture”. This ability to moisturise the skin separates the Hydrafacial™ from all other skin resurfacing procedures, including the popular microdermabrasion treatment which is a “dry method” using abrasive aluminium crystals passed over the skin to achieve deep skin exfoliation.
The Hydrafacial removes dead skin cells and impurities (in a similar way to microdermabrasion) but additionally simultaneously bathes the underlying skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturising serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and effective.
It helps improve the appearance of the skin and the circulation and generally gives the skin a healthy glow. Once the outer layer of skin has been removed, the layers of skin beneath then increase their production of new skin cells to renew the surface layer.
The Hydrafacial is a mild treatment causing minimal damage to the surface of the skin.
Results are subtle and include a freshening in the appearance and improvement in the texture and hydration of the skin, alongside a reduction in the appearance of fine lines or wrinkles, making it a great skin complexion boosting and maintenance treatment for anyone.
Don’t Sweat it! – with Sweatox
Botox – also known as Sweatox for underarm sweating (axillary hyperhidrosis) is a highly effective treatment for the reduction of excessive sweating.
Excessive sweating is estimated to affect approximately 1% of the population. Although most people associate excessive sweating with the underarm area – it can occur in other focal parts of the body, such as the hands, or feet, or it can be more generalised affecting the whole of the body.
Botox injections also known in the popular press as ‘sweatox’ can be administered to help reduce excessive sweating.
Botox was approved by the U.K. regulatory authorities as a medical treatment for hyperhidrosis in 2001.
The procedure takes around half an hour for both armpits, and will start to reduce sweating in two to ten days following treatment. This treatment is simple, safe and virtually painless – the only side effects may be very minor bruising following treatment in the armpits. Most people find relief from excessive sweating for around seven months, with some claiming relief for one year or longer. Re-treatment is necessary when excessive sweating returns.
Although this procedure is only currently approved for use as a treatment for armpit sweating, it has also been used to treat discreet areas of sweating in other parts of the body, such as the hands and face.
This treatment for Hyperhidrosis is usually not available through your General Practitioner, and there is currently limited availability in NHS Hospitals.
